Our Process

From first enquiry to final install — how we forge strength into every project.

Every job is handled by skilled Tasmanian tradespeople and built to last. Whether it's a single custom piece or large-scale structural steelwork, we follow a clear, proven process so you always know what's happening and what comes next.

Four Stages

A clear path from conversation to completion.

Every project moves through these four stages. Small jobs may compress them into a single visit; large infrastructure work expands them across months. Either way, the structure stays the same — so you always know where things stand.

01
Step One

Design Assistance

Concepts refined into buildable plans.

It starts with a conversation. Tell us what you need — a repair, a custom fabrication or a full structural build — and we'll help refine the concept into a practical, buildable solution. With decades of experience behind us, we can often spot the smarter, more cost-effective approach from the outset, and tune the design for strength, compliance and intended use.

Step Two · Core craft

Fabrication

This is where it comes together. Working across mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, our team handles everything from structural fabrication to metal bending and rolling. Every weld is completed to the AS/NZS 1554 standard by fully qualified tradespeople — and every piece is checked against your specifications before it leaves the workshop.

Step 03

Installation & Onsite Works

Qualified teams delivering safe, efficient outcomes.

We work both in-house and on-site to suit your project. Whether components are delivered ready to install or our team handles installation directly, jobs are completed safely, on time and to standard — backed by the same compliance and craftsmanship as our workshop work.

Ongoing Support

Our relationship doesn't end at handover. From repairs to scheduled maintenance and shutdown works, we keep your steel components performing for the long term — many of our clients have been coming back to us for decades.
